Award-winning graphic artist, Kevin Shaw became a drinks label designer almost by accident. A long-time wine enthusiast, he produced his first labels for dynamic London wine company Bibendum in return for good bottles of Bordeaux. Since then, he has designed award winning labels for clients ranging from Dow's Port and Michel Rolland (Clos de los Siete) to Hendrick's Gin and Chateau de Lagrezette, the Cahors estate that belongs to Cartier boss and art collector Alain Dominique Perrin. Shaw owes much of his success to his insistance on understanding how the drink is going to taste, what it is going to cost and where, when and by whom it is most likely to be enjoyed.
